Car Park Check

Ocean Parking parking charges

Ocean Parking operates paid and validated car parks at retail parks and city sites, including Peel-owned retail parks in Greater Manchester. It uses ANPR cameras with pay-on-exit machines and in-store validation terminals. As an IPC member, rejected appeals go to the IAS, and debt recovery is handled through agents such as Trace.

How to appeal a Ocean Parking charge

  1. Appeal to Ocean Parking within 28 days of the notice. Paying within 14 days usually gets a discount, so decide early.
  2. If it rejects your appeal, it must give you a verification code for IAS, because Ocean Parking is a member of the IPC.
  3. Appeal to IAS. It's free for drivers. See our IAS guide.
